Differences from hospital intervention
In our medical office there is no anesthetist on site. There is no general or partial (spinal) anesthesia. Therefore, we do not have any anesthesia risks in our medical office. The risk of heavy bleeding is significantly lower with local anesthesia.
You are awake. You are therefore aware of our preparations, which are necessary, such as unpacking the sterile instruments. We talk to you and can involve you. The pain is treated with local anesthesia at the cervix and, if necessary, with strong medication through the vein. Even without general anesthesia, good to very good pain treatment is guaranteed.
After the operation, 9 out of 10 women felt that the pain was mild and that they had imagined the operation to be significantly worse than it was effective.
